• Prices for your skiing holiday are in pounds sterling based on twin occupancy of twin/double rooms and triple occupancy of triple rooms – if one person books a twin/double or 2 people book a triple room then there is an empty bed charge for the unused bed (see below)

  ** Lessons are 2 hours duration for 5 days and are included in the holiday price. Lessons are organised to include skiers of similar abilities and hence you may find lessons are at different times for members of your booking. However the courses are flexible and if you specifically ask to ski with friends we will do our best to accommodate you.

  For guests to join our classes we require that a minimum of 3 guests (this includes children) be of the same level for skivo to be able to provide inhouse ski tuition for them. If this is not possible we would place the guest(s) with another ski school. This is more likely to happen if the guest is a total beginner or Level 1/2 skier. If, in the most unlikely event, you do not fit in to one of our lessons and another ski school are not able to accommodate you, then you may have to take private ski lessons at an extra cost. Please note that should you either not ski or choose not to join in our lessons then no reduction will be offered from our standard holiday price.

  Snowboard tuition is not included in your holiday price and if any of your party would like this we can supply details of local companies.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 2024/25

Empty bed/single supplements
If you are a single traveller but would like your own twin room or are two people sharing a triple room, there will be an additional charge for any beds remaining empty in the room. Please note that the smaller rooms in the chalet will be allocated in this instance.

Peak dates
Saturday 21 and Saturday 28 December 2024; Saturday 15 and 22 February 2024; Saturday 5 and 12 April 2025 the single supplement would be the full per person cost of the holiday per empty bed less £170

All other dates
Roger or Valeriane – £400 per empty bed
Rosalie or Sapin Bleu – £500 per empty bed
Nicola - £550 per empty bed

If you are a solo traveller and wish us to try to match you up with a same sex sharer we are happy to try to do this (although not many of our guests ask to do this). Please note if we are not able to find a match or find a match who then drops out or circumstances change then the full empty bed supplement would become payable by the solo traveller.

Sole occupancy
Please note that if you are taking sole occupancy of a chalet then each bed in the chalet will be charged at the full price if the number of people equals the number of beds in the chalet. If you choose to over occupy rooms to enable others in the party to have sole occupancy of rooms we are happy for you to do this. However, no child discounts (over and above the standard £50 per child under 16 years/£100 per child under 5 years) would apply.  Applying empty bed supplements in the rooms where one person occupies a twin room or two people occupy a triple room would also not be possible.

If you have a group who would like full occupancy of a chalet and wish to keep some beds empty an additional charge for any beds remaining empty in the chalet will also apply.

Please note that we have set a a minimum number of guests for sole occupancy of our chalets. If your party does not meet the minimum number for sole occupancy then the relevant additional number of beds would be charged at full price to bring your number up to minimum occupancy numbers if you wished to proceed with the booking:

• Nicola: minimum of 10 beds at full price plus 2 single supplements of £550 each
• Rosalie: minimum of 8 beds at full price plus 2 single supplements of £500 each
• Sapin Bleu: minimum of 6 beds at full price plus 2 single supplements of £500 each
• Roger: minimum of 17 beds at full price plus 3 single supplements of £400 each
• Valeriane: minimum of 8 beds at full price plus 2 single supplements of £400 each
  NB:
  Minimum occupancy levels are subject to change as chalets sell out on individual weeks.
  Please note that group discounts are not activated until minimum occupancy plus one has been reached for sole occupancy groups.

Group discounts
We are pleased to offer discounts for groups, provided all members travel on the same date, the full number to qualify is booked in at the initial booking stage, stay in the same chalet and a single party leader handles ALL correspondence, queries and payments. It is only applicable to those booking directly with skivo and also paying the full holiday cost.

You should specify that this is your intention at the time of the initial booking and the free place will be agreed at that point. The free place cannot be added on retrospectively.

• 15 travel – 16th goes free (except Saturday 21 and 28 December 2024, Saturday 8, 15 and 22 February 2025 and Saturday 5 and 12 April 2025 when no free places are available)
• 10 travelling – 11th goes free:  please contact UK office for applicable dates
  NB:
  Children do not count towards free place ratios.
  Group discounts are not activated until minimum occupancy plus one has been reached for sole occupancy groups.

Child discounts

• Children under 2 years in parents’ room: Charge of £75 per week plus the transfer cost as above (if this is required). We supply cots and high chairs free of charge
• Non skiing 2 – 4 years in parents/siblings/friends room: 40% discount, instruction not included (this does not include triple rooms)
• Skiers 5 – 15 years in parents/siblings/friends room: 30% discount instruction is included (this does not include triple rooms)
• Skiers 5 – 15 years in own room: reduction of £50 per week based on full occupancy of room, instruction is included
• Non skiing under 5 years in own room based on full occupancy of room: reduction of £100 per week, instruction is not included
• If 3 children occupy a twin room the additional child discount relates to the oldest child only

Only one of the above discounts per child will apply. You must book directly with skivo to qualify for both group, early and child discounts.
